My client, a highly successful and privately owned commercial and multifamily real estate developer is in search of a talented CONTROLLER (Kelowna, BC) who wants grow their career in a dynamic, transformational and collaborative environment. Ideally boasting experience in real estate, property management and/or construction, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting and analysis of a sizeable portfolio of commercial and multi-family properties and development projects. Collaborating with construction and property management executives and their teams, you will enhance and optimize reporting, processes and controls that support timely operational decision making. Your proven track record for strategically leveraging technology and systems, while leading a small team and partnering with company leadership, will add to your success in this role.

Interested? | Reporting to a well-regarded and highly knowledgeable Managing Director, this position offers a very competitive six-figure compensation package, including benefits upon commencement, parking, licenses/fees coverage and education support. Beyond the aforementioned, several other unique perks are offered, including front of the line rental and rate discounts, business discounts and relocation assistance/interim housing access (if required).   To that end and if required, this company has a strong track record of successfully relocating professionals to Kelowna.

Possessing a CPA designation (great but not required)  with a supplementary post-secondary education, exposure to YARDI property accounting software (or similar) and experience in a similar role where you have led operational project related accounting functions, ideally in the Real Estate (property, asset) and/or construction/development field, will set you up for success. Pre-employment requirements include a Security Clearance, Credit Check, References. Please note that this is an in-office role.
